Gamma Campeche Malecon Hotel, Campeche

My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The location was perfect with parking right in front of the hotel, clean pool area, and okay rooms. The food was delicious, though the advertised 'Very good breakfast included' was not really worth the price. The staff made an effort to accommodate us even though one person did not speak English. Some parts of the hotel felt a bit dated, like the Gulf and the pool, but the hotel's close proximity to the historic center and Malecon made exploring very convenient.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms were spacious, they were quite tired and not up to the standards shown in the pictures. The noise from the building's air conditioning system was a significant downside. The location, on the other hand, was perfect, right in the middle of town and with great views of the ocean. The service was exceptional, with the staff always ready to help, but the dining could have been more affordable considering the limited options available.

If you don't mind a bit of noise from outside, the hotel offers bright and spacious rooms that lack some character but are overall comfortable. The service, while friendly at the front desk, had a few unpleasant interactions that could affect guests' enjoyment. The central location is a big plus, with easy access to the old town and restaurants, although some noise from machinery nearby. Dining can be a bit on the expensive side but offers quality options like a good buffet.
